Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation Watch - New Luminox Watch Review

An iconic timepiece with a military edge - Introducing the new Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation watch.

Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation Watch - New Luminox Watch Review

There’s a new military watch in town. Swiss watchmaker Luminox, known for its revolutionary illumination technology, has just released a new addition to its iconic military watch family: the Navy SEAL Foundation 3580 Series. Drawing inspiration from the original watches commissioned by the Navy SEALs back in the early 90s, the latest Navy SEAL watch is a new take on this beloved Luminox collection known for its unwavering sense of duty and rich military heritage.

The latest Navy SEAL watch is a new take on the original Luminox collection from the early 1990's.

Bound by their mission to protect the American people at sea, in the air and on land, the Navy SEAL task force was in desperate need of a high-performance watch that could thrive in the most arduous of territories, whether it be the depths of the jungle or the middle of the ocean. So, when Luminox founder Barry Cohen teamed up with the SEALs' officer in charge of procurement in 1992, they did not just create a new military watch ready to take on any challenge: they also paved the way for a new series of Luminox watches that would be worn by global military forces, from the U.S Coast Guard to the Singapore Air Force.

Now, keeping in line with its legacy, the newly reimagined Navy SEAL watch celebrates its long-lasting partnership with the SEALs, putting the military force’s five pillars of Strength, Resilience, Health, Education and Community at the heart of the Foundation 3580 watch’s design. For unmatched durability, the new Luminox Navy SEAL watch comes with a CARBONOX™ case and a unidirectional rotating bezel allowing precise timekeeping in crucial situations. The watch, designed to be worn on land as much as in the water, also features 200-metre water resistance and the brand's signature long-lasting LLT illumination system, enabling every SEAL hero to fight to the best of their abilities day and night.

Fighting in uncharted territories does not come without risk, which is why Luminox honours the various conditions the SEALs work in thanks to the watch’s unique design.

The piece cleverly switches from a sand-coloured rubber strap to an olive webbing strap to represent both the harshness of the desert and the taxing humidity of the jungle. In addition to the interchangeable straps, the new Luminox sports watch displays the Navy SEAL foundation logo on the bottom-most sub-dial, a subtle touch that won’t go unnoticed by present and former SEAL warriors.

All in all, the new Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation watch is a testament to the brand's dedication to Swiss excellence and its undying support for those who embody the spirit of service and sacrifice. Whether you’re a fierce military fighter, a passionate outdoor adventurer, or a fearless night diver, the new Luminox Navy SEAL Foundation watch truly speaks to those who put action at the heart of their lives.
